Our product, which lies at the core of our unique service, is simply the most sophisticated CCTV guarding system ever developed. It represents the future of automated guarding. Outside of working hours it provides a very high level of security as it is monitored by a Home Office licensed, CAT2 monitoring station. During working hours, it provides the site owner or operator, with the significant added benefit of providing an unrivalled on-site management and auditing tool.

Our service operates to the highest standards. The Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO), have instigated a new policy, effective from 1 January 2009. It effectively states, that to ensure the Police will respond to a reported intrusion, a monitored site must have a Unique Reference Number (URN) status.

This URN status requires that the monitoring station holds the highest Home Office rating, which is CAT 2, and that the monitoring service, which is linked to it, complies with BS5979 and BS8418 standards.

RDC meets these high standards. The beauty of our service is that when one of our mobile units is placed on a site in order to secure it, that location automatically then gains this required URN status. This offers our clients peace of mind in the knowledge that their sites enjoy the highest level of priority in terms of Police response.
