Guess what? out of the 43 deliveries charged for, only 37 actually happened. Sadly, now you also know that someone on site is taking bribes to sign for ‘ghost’ deliveries. But in this harsh economic environment, no sensible businessman is going to stand for that. A case study
One senior architect working on a very large site, informed us that through the use of cameras, he had identified that 14% of the entire construction budget had been lost over a 9 month period either due to inefficiency or dishonesty.
Deliveries charged for but which provably (via the onsite digital recorder) had not even occurred, right through to the destruction and disposal into skips of brand new bathroom suites because no one could be bothered to return them. He pointed out to his client that this figure represented 90% of their profit! Needless to say they now insist on our service on every site!
